How to get started

Step 1: Create your account: This step-by-step guide will help you set up your account and allow us to track referrals and issue payments.

Step 2: Start referring clients: Once your account is set up and approved, you can start referring clients. We’ll provide you with a toolkit to help with client outreach!*

That’s it. We handle the rest, including product delivery, onboarding, and ongoing support.

*You must clearly and verbally inform each referred client that you will receive a $25 referral payment for a qualified purchase.

Who is the Best Buy Health Broker Referral Program for?

Our program is designed for licensed insurance brokers and agents who want to support clients without plan-covered urgent response services. If you’re an individual broker, you can get started here. What is PERS?

A personal emergency response system (PERS) is a wearable device that connects individuals to 24/7 trained agents for emergencies, social services, care coordination, and more. You can learn more about the Best Buy Health PERS solution here.

Who should I refer?

Clients who do not have PERS through their health plan. Always confirm client coverage before referring.

What do I earn?

You will earn a $25 commission for each client who purchases a PERS device through your referral link.

How do I refer clients?

Once registered, you’ll receive a personalized referral link. Share this directly with eligible clients—Best Buy Health manages everything else.

How to get your link:

  • Log in to the Broker Referral Program portal
  • On the Home tab, view the Referral link section
  • Copy and paste the referral link into emails, social posts, websites, etc.

The referral link will auto-apply the device discount. If you choose to share the coupon code, your clients must apply that coupon code at checkout to receive the discount.

How and when do I get paid?

Payments are made after an eligible purchase, with no minimum threshold. To allow time for potential returns, payments are made at least 30 days after the purchase date. Details will be provided through your dashboard. Generally, payments are made around the 16th of each month for all transactions that occurred in the previous month.

To receive payments, please submit your W-9 and set up your payment settings in the portal. Payments cannot be issued until your W-9 information has been reviewed and confirmed.

What happens after I refer a client?

The client visits the website to purchase the device directly. Once the order is placed, we handle the shipping. After receiving the device, the client contacts Best Buy Health to enroll in their subscription plan. From there, we provide ongoing support. You are not responsible for servicing the device.

Can I use marketing materials or templates?

Yes. Once registered, you’ll receive an engagement toolkit designed for broker use.

How long does registration take?

Registration is easy and will take less than two minutes. We have created a guide to walk you through registration.

Can I refer a client who is eligible for PERS as a supplemental benefit through an Anthem or Wellpoint plan?

They should be directed to our Member Enrollment Portal. Anthem and Wellpoint members who are eligible for PERS through their supplemental benefits do not qualify for affiliate referral payments.
